In today’s global community the ability to learn another language is an important skill. As Christians, we have the privilege and responsibility to communicate the gospel with our neighbors and those far away. Learning Spanish is one way for a student to become prepared as a citizen and as a Christian. The students will be learning vocabulary, grammatical forms, and spoken and written Spanish and Spanish scripture from the Bible. We will cover approximately a chapter per week. There will be weekly vocabulary and Bible verse work. Although we will meet on either Thursday late-afternoon, or Friday morning (depending on preferences in people’s schedules), students should plan to study Spanish at home approximately 3 days per week (M/W/F would be good and students can study more, of course, if they want). Each student will need a binder (or section of a binder), composition book, paper, and pens.
