The following events are continuing through July…

AN A-Z GUIDE TO CHARACTER HEALTHY HOMESCHOOLING

Hyland Heights Baptist Church is offering a 7-week summer homeschool study starting June 12, 2013 at 6:30p in Modular 2 at HHBC. The fee is $12 to cover the cost of the book. Childcare is available. Visit HHBC here for further details.

“We need to make the teaching of character paramount in our choices of activities, educational resources, and affiliations. We need to purpose in our hearts to train a new generation of Christ-like, character-healthy leaders. If we will commit to raising character champions, the other areas of our children’s lives will easily fall into place. Important character qualities such as: persistence, diligence, self-control, honesty, courage, commitment, and a hard work ethic will provide them with the foundation to excel in academics, extra-curricular activities, and relationships. We must put first things first, and Biblical character must be that first thing! It isn’t hard, but it does take hard work. Will you join me in raising a new breed of young adults; young adults who love God, consistently make character healthy decisions, and who will raise the standard for generations to come! Together, we can help our young homeschooled adults build a legacy of honor, courage, and most of all, character. . .” – Megan Scheibner, An A-Z Guide to Character Healthy Homeschooling
